Terms & Conditions

Below are the terms and conditions for RD Jones Christie’s Pty Ltd. By signing the guest registration form, you are agreeing to all terms and conditions on behalf of everyone staying in your room. The person making the booking is responsible for passing these terms and conditions on to any guests staying with them. The person making the booking must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

RECEPTION HOURS & CHECK-IN TIMES

Our reception hours are between 9am and 9pm daily. Guests must check in between 2pm-9pm on the day of arrival and must check out by 10am on the day of departure. Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Please contact reception during our reception hours.

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS

RD Jones Christie’s Pty Ltd requires notice of any cancellations or changes by 2pm the day prior to the reservation date. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a charge equivalent to one full night’s accommodation. Bookings are considered No Shows if they fail to check in by 9pm on the day of arrival. No shows will not be refunded, and the remainder of their stay will be cancelled. 

 RESERVATION PROCESS

RD Jones Christie’s Pty Ltd reserve the right to acquire the following personal information:

  • Full names of person making the booking and associated guests

  • Contact number and e-mail address

  • A valid credit or debit card to guarantee the reservation

  • Company organisation (if applicable)

At time of check-in, the following payments are required:

  • Full payment for the entire stay

  • A security bond in the form of $100 cash or credit card pre-authorization

The security bond will be returned at time of check-out if there are no damages or excess cleaning costs caused by you, your guests or visitors. Should there be any additional undeclared purchases or damages, the hotel reserves the right to charge the credit or debit card after check-out.

VISITORS & EXTRA PERSON POLICY

The hotel has maximum occupancy limits on each room. Additional charges apply for additional guests. The hotel reserves the right to charge guests additional fees if people are deemed to be staying without prior consent. Visitors are allowed, however all visitors must leave the rooms by 10pm.

ROOM ALLOCATIONS & SPECIAL REQUESTS

Any special requests are welcome and will be actioned at the discretion of management, please note that all requests cannot be guaranteed. Guests are allocated to the best available rooms, and requests for specific room numbers may be honoured. If an allocated room becomes available at time of check-in, the hotel will provide an alternative substitute of equal or greater value.

 RATES & AVAILABILITY

Photographs and room descriptions are based on information at time of publishing. Actual rooms may vary from those in photographs in terms of décor and quality of furnishings. All rates sold are in Australian dollars and include Government goods and taxes (GST). Rates are based on twin share and sold on a per room per night basis.  Rates and room types are quoted based on availability at time of booking. RD Jones Christie’s Pty Ltd reserve the right to amend rates that have been quoted incorrectly due to human or digital errors. Room hire does not include meals, laundry, room service or transportation unless otherwise stated in writing.

 DAMAGES & ADDITIONAL CLEANING

The person who made the booking is financially responsible and will be held accountable for:

  • Any damages to the rooms, property and surrounding areas.

  • Any fines arising from behaviour of guests staying in their rooms.

  • Any excess cleaning required for your room during your stay or at time of check-out

RD Jones Pty Ltd reserve the right to charge guests for damages and/or additional cleaning including, but not limited to:

  • Smoke residue on furnishings as a result of smoking in rooms

  • Cleaning or replacement cost of soiled furniture or linen

  • Cleaning costs or replacement of furnishings as a result of vomit, spills and/or stains

  • Flooding rooms from negligent activity

  • Excessive rubbish

  • Damage or removal hotel property

Ultimately, the person who made the booking is liable for the behaviour of, and any additional costs, caused by themselves and/or any person in their room. Failure to comply could result in legal, liability and compensation issues.

 SECURITY & LOSS PREVENTION

Staff and management do everything in their power to ensure a safe environment for all guests. RD Jones Christie’s Pty Ltd does not take responsibility for damages, injuries or losses arising during your stay.

 FACILITIES

  • The hotel has a public parking area onsite available for guests, however parking spaces are not guaranteed nor allocated

  • Daily housekeeping is included in all rooms

  • Laundry services are not available onsite, please see reception for nearby facilities

  • There is no internet access available in the rooms

 PET POLICY

Animals are not on the premises except for registered guide dogs.

 SMOKING POLICY

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms. A penalty fee of $200 will be charged to any guest found breaching our smoking policy. Please see reception for information on designed smoking areas.

 CHILD & INFANT POLICY

The hotel considers a child to be 16 years of younger for the purpose of charging. Children may stay in the room for free if using existing bedding and not exceeding the maximum room occupancy. Children may not stay in any room without an accompanying parent or guardian. Additional charges will apply if extra beds, rollaway beds, cots or linen are required.

 EVICTION

RD Jones Christie’s Pty Ltd reserve the right to remove and/or refuse a booking from any person who is deemed by management to be causing damage, disturbing guests or behaving in a violent or aggressive manner. No refund will be given, and charges will apply for any damage caused. Guests who are evicted from the hotel will be blacklisted from RD Jones Christie’s Pty Ltd venues for a period of 2 years, and the hotel may choose to notify the police.

 RIGHT TO REFUSE ENTRY

RD Jones Christie’s Pty Ltd reserve the right to refuse entry to any person at management’s discretion. The hotel staff and management have the right to refuse any person that is reasonably deemed to be behaving inappropriately or offensively.
